Swearing in Ceremony of the 12th Parliament of the Kingdom of Eswatini

This marked the beginning of a new era as 69 Members of Parliament of the House of Assembly were sworn in at a high level ceremony attented by family members, former Parliamentarians and the general public. This event kick-started on a high note where Clerk to Parliament Mr. Benedict Xaba started by briefing both the elected and appointed Members about Parliament proceedings and the order for the day. A business-pack including the new Standing Orders, Constitution, Parliamentary Service Act, Senate Elections Act, and other relevant documents were also given to the Honourable Members in order to familiarise themselves.
